Rudy Core Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to Rudy Core, the internal operations assistant used by Surf Shop Grand Haven. The Surf Shop website privacy policy also applies when you use this website.

Information Rudy Core uses

With authorized access, Rudy Core may read QuickBooks company, accounting, sales, time, payroll, and related business data needed for labor and operations analysis. It may also process authorization details and limited audit and usage records needed to operate and secure the connection.

How information is used

Information is used to prepare internal reports such as labor hours, labor cost, sales, margin, and sales per labor hour. Rudy Core is designed for read-only QuickBooks access. It does not initiate payments or change QuickBooks records.

Storage and sharing

QuickBooks data, employee identifiers, payroll details, and authentication tokens are stored and processed locally on company-controlled equipment. Authentication secrets are protected using the macOS Keychain. Shop and payroll data are not sold, shared for advertising, or sent to cloud language models. Reports may contain aggregated business totals.

Retention and deletion

Information is retained only as long as needed for authorized business operations, recordkeeping, security, or legal requirements. Access may be revoked through Intuit account settings or the Rudy Core disconnect process. Local cached data and tokens will be removed when the connection is permanently disconnected, subject to required business records.

Security

Rudy Core uses least-privilege access, local access controls, encrypted credential storage, and limited internal availability. No security method is perfect, but reasonable safeguards are maintained for the sensitivity of the information.

Your choices
