Grand Haven is home to some of the most beautiful beaches along the Lake Michigan Shoreline.

Grand Haven state Park
This is a 48-acre park with the beautiful sandy shore of Lake Michigan along the west side and the Grand River along the north side. The park consists entirely of beach sand and provides scenic views of Lake Michigan and the Grand Haven pier and lighthouse.

Grand Haven City Beach
The Grand Haven City Beach is nestled between The Noto’s At The Bilmar, a beachfront restaurant, and Grand Haven State Park beach on Harbor Drive. Limited free parking is available. Restrooms available. No fees or passes required. This sandy large beach front is perfect for families and dog lovers ( see below for details)

Kirk Park
Stretching along Lake Michigan’s shoreline for over 1/3 mile, this park boasts 68 acres of sandy beach, high bluffs and wooded dunes. Nature trails with wooden stairways wind through the wooded dunes, offering spectacular views of Lake Michigan. A paved path leads to a deck overlooking the beach and Lake Michigan. This is a popular park for swimming, sunbathing, picnicking and cross country skiing.

Social District
Grand Haven Main Street Social District Hours are daily from 11:00am to 11:00pm, Monday through Sunday.
As part of the Social District patrons ages 21 and older are able to purchase an alcoholic beverage from a participating establishment and consume it outdoors on the sidewalk within the commons area.

Splash Pad
Community fountain located between the Municipal Marina parking lot and Chinook Pier that children can play in during the warmer months.
The fountain is activated by motion sensors and powered by a solar panel.
The Splash Pad was made possible through fundraising through the Grand Haven Rotary and donations from the Grand Haven Area Community Foundation and community.
